Not only will you fail, you will fail in the same way again and again. This will feel humiliating, like you aren’t growing and just fail again and again. Instead of looking for an excuse, or some external explanation for your failure, see if you can find the true lesson.
Often, we attach our personal value to the outcomes of what we do. A failed relationship means we are a failure that isn’t worthy of love, or a failed business means we are just bad at business. Success does not come from being good enough, but rather from refusing to give up, and refusing to blame things that you cannot control. It’s okay to fail, in fact, you are BETTER for it, so long as you learn. Take the lessons, leave the guilt or shame. There is no shame in failure, only in giving up on what you believe in.
So if you have failed, rejoice, for there are lessons for you to learn. So long as you follow your heart, and do what makes you feel best, success is only about not giving up. Try your best, learn from your failures. Ask yourself tough questions, take nothing for granted.
You cannot be good enough; you can only want it enough.
